Coobiz.it provides its users with public information (company name, postal address, web address (URL), e-mail address and telephone number) of Italian traders, categorized by type of business and location.

The processing of data entered onto the www.coobiz.it database for free "exclusively" is carried out by Factotum S.r.l. - Via Giardini, 456 / C - 41100 Modena (Mo) - as am independent data controller for the processing of personal data in electronic format mainly, by the staff in charge of the data processing, as part of their work, in accordance with legislative decree 196/2003. In accordance with requirements set out by the Italian Data Protection Authorities of 14 July 2005, Factotum srl informs all traders whose data is published on Coobiz-owned lists exclusively:

• The data in this directory will mainly be processed in electronic format, with selection and processing criteria selected to create standard product or professional categories, for publication on this computer list, considering the fact that the data entered is related to business activities, published on lists that can be accessed by anybody.
• Please note that as such, this data may be processed by third parties who independently process the data, subject to the requirements contained in the Code for the protection of personal data and, specifically, to the provisions of article 130, with regard to unsolicited communications (use of automated calling systems, email, fax, e-type or Sms or Mms type messages).
• Note that data will be published that can completely identify the financial operator, unless it has expressed its wish not to appear in the directory or to appear only with certain data .

Since the data of the parties included on the Coobiz category lists is subject to processing, these parties may exercise their rights under Art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/03, including: 

• obtaining confirmation of their personal data and its communication in intelligible form from the data controller;
• the right to find out about the origin of the data;
• the right to find out the purpose, terms and logic of processing by electronic means;
• request the update, rectification, addition, cancellation or transformation of the data into anonymous form in the event of breach of the law;
• to object to processing of the data
